Throughout my adult life I have noticed that individuals have come to chat with me about the ups and downs in their lives. They say they find me to be warm, caring, approachable, and a good listener.

Once my four children were older I decided to gain the qualifications I needed to formalize the skills I was, to some extent, already using.

I work with adults of all ages who come with many different issues such as anxiety, panic attacks, depression, low self-esteem, suicidal thoughts, eating disorders, family issues, relationship issues and bereavement.  I also work with couples.

My approach to counselling is Integrative which means I draw on several different counselling approaches to match what I think will help best in any given situation.

I continue to develop myself professionally and have supervision adhering to the BACP ethical framework for good practice in counselling and psychotherapy.
